Project CONCIENCIA 

The Consciousness portion of the organization is where we use art as a tool to raise consciousness around society’s many realities. We believe that to really create a change, the impetus for it will have to come from both above and below. To give the children in our schools true possibilities, it is necessary to create a greater understanding in their surrounding society. The objective of this project is to create more awareness in society with the long term goal of generating sustainable solidarity and participation.

The project we are working on today is a series of TV-spots to be broadcast throughout Ecuadorian television within the next year. Each of these is intended to stimulate thoughts around problems of racism, poverty and the environment. 

 

We are also working on a photo exhibition reflecting the work we do, which will be used as a means of sharing our project with others.
